Dean Witter Fund
The Dean Witter Fund is intended to promote and improve faculty-student interaction in an informal setting. The fund was established by a contribution from Dean Witter, founder of the San Francisco investment firm. Although the funds—subject to stated limitations—may be used to defer the cost of a variety of events, the program is primarily intended to encourage one-to-one or small group interaction. The fund has been used for reimbursement of hosts for events such as meals on campus or at a local restaurant. Questions regarding this application process should be directed to Ellen Yoshimura, Student Affairs, (530) 752-2416.
