The UC Davis Bookstore is a full-service bookstore serving the campus community. As well as textbooks, the bookstore offers a thorough selection of general and technical books; school and office supplies; art, engineering and photo supplies; microcomputers, software and accessories; a complete line of UC Davis clothing, souvenirs and gifts; greeting cards; and a full-service Clinique make-up counter. In addition to the main bookstore, four smaller bookstores are located on campus and one bookstore is at the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento.
The bookstore offers a textbook reservation program every year before the beginning of fall quarter. This program offers incoming freshmen and second-year students the opportunity to purchase their books ahead of time via the Web or through the mail. When students arrive on campus, they may pick up their prepaid order, boxed and ready to go. A backpack with school supplies is also available for purchase with this program.
The bookstore also has an accelerated used book program, providing students with money-saving titles throughout the year. The bookstore offers students an opportunity to sell their books back twice a quarter, at the beginning and end of each quarter.
