The Student Programs and Activities Center (SPAC) administers and develops programs and activities that promote an inclusive yet diverse campus community. SPAC provides opportunities and resources for student learning, development, and involvement in a broad array of leadership and teamwork experiences that enrich campus life and contribute to community service. These co-curricular opportunities include more than 470 registered student organizations and programs, such as the Cultural Days, Danzantes del Alma, Cal Aggie Marching Band, Club Finance Council and the annual Activities Faire.
SPAC acts as a liaison to sororities and fraternities, and works with the student coordinators of Picnic Day. Within SPAC, the Student Recruitment and Retention Center is a collective of student-initiated outreach programs for historically underrepresented communities within the University.
