Welcome to Student Affairs Development!Invest in the making a difference in the lives of students... Student Affairs Development secures private funds in support of the programs within the Division of Student Affairs. These programs reinforce the core values of the university through engagement outside of the classroom. These programs make a difference in the lives of students by helping to balance academic, physical, emotional, and social well-being through participation in student organizations, student government, cultural opportunities, community service, volunteerism and recreation. Three areas have been identified as divisional priorities in assisting students
Undergraduate and Graduate Student Support- Make a giftIncreased financial aid is integral to meeting the institutional commitment to recruit, retain and graduate a diverse community of students who may fully engage in their academic pursuit, as well as the student life of the campus. Our success will depend on building a strong financial foundation to provide scholarships and fellowships so that deserving students can attend without the fear of incurring incredible debt.
Student Community Center - (Coming Soon)In 2002 UC Davis students approved a student fee initiative providing partial funding for a Student Community Center (SCC) focused on campus community. Private support will complement the student fee funding to fund a new facility designed to welcome all students and help promote meaningful connections between students. The SCC will be a place where students discover who they are as individuals, as groups and as a community.
Intercollegiate Athletics - Make a giftMulti-Use Stadium UC Davis offers one of the most diverse athletic programs in the country. UC Davis Athletics is committed to conducting a program consistent with the University's educational purposes while competing with programs in Division 1 that provide outstanding athletic competition experience. Private support will be critical in maintaining the student athlete excellence for which this program is known. More...
