Diana Brisbane Tovilla Coutiño, Research Experiences for Undergraduate Mexican Students Program 2015 particiant, working in Christoph Vogel's research lab.  

The purpose of the UC-Mexico Initiative is to create a sustained, strategic and equal partnership between the UC and institutions in Mexico to address common issues and educate our next generation of leaders. Much of the Initiative's focus will align with current education policy initiatives in both US and Mexico, particularly the Binational Forum on Higher Education, Innovation, and Research. UC Davis- Mexico

UC Davis-Mexico is set to address common issues and educate the next generation of leaders through increased student exchange, continuing education for professionals in Mexico, and collaborative scholarship. UC Davis-Mexico enthusiastically supports the strengthening of partnerships with Mexico and welcomes ways to leverage the existing wide range of research programs and initiatives.
