The 2008 conference showcased the technology innovations that UC campuses have developed to deliver enrollment services.
Keynote Speaker
UC and the Power of Ten: A Time for Alignment
David J. Ernst , CIO and Associate Vice President for the University of California system in the Office of the President. This presentation will lay out some of the initiatives currently available for the UC system to utilize information technology as a unifying force to make the whole greater than the sum of its parts. Given a growing appetite on the campuses to collaborate on activities and projects that avoid "reinventing the wheel" ten times and take advantage of the economies of scale inherent in shared use of technology, there is a window of opportunity to move forward to bring benefit at the campus level.
