Event Submission Details
Submissions are reviewed by Student Affairs Marketing and Communications as well as Fall Welcome staff and must be:
- Open to current UC Davis students.
- Sponsored or submitted by a UC Davis department or registered student organization (RSO). Events submitted by student organizations will go through an additional review process by the Center for Student Involvement (verify RSO, on-campus room reservation and event guidelines are followed). Note that, at this time, student organizations are generally able to post on-campus events only to the Fall Welcome section of the Student Life calendar.
Please write "Fall Welcome event" in the "Organizer Notes" section of the submission form, so our editorial staff knows to include your event in the Fall Welcome calendar. To avoid duplication, please also indicate in the "Organizer Notes" field if your event has already been entered into any other part of the UC Davis Academic and Events Calendar. Other internal comments about your event can be left in this field as well, which is not displayed publically on the calendar.
Note that we may edit your submission to align with the UC Davis editorial style guide or to optimize calendar functionality.
