Apply to be a NUFP Fellow

UC Davis undergraduate students who meet the following qualifications may apply to the campus and broader NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Programs (NUFP):

  • Be full-time undergraduate student.
  • Have a least 2.5 GPA.
  • Have a strong desire to learn more about higher education and student affairs.
  • Identify as historically disenfranchised and underrepresented professionals in student affairs and/or higher education, including but not limited to those of racial and ethnic-minority background; those having a disability; and those identifying as LGBTQIA.

Application Deadlines

  • Spring deadline: May 12, 2017
  • Fall deadline: September 1, 2017
  • Careers in Student Affairs Month (CSAM) deadline: October 13, 2017

Application Process

In order to fully apply to UC Davis NUFP, you must:

  1. Submit the campus-specific online application through Google Forms.
  2. Upload of full copy of current transcript to Orgsync (official or unofficial) with cumulative GPA circled (please do not send only the last page of transcript).
  3. Locate your NASPA customer ID. If you do not have a customer ID, please create one, but do not purchase a membership.
  4. Submit online demographic form. To complete this form, please use your own answers plus the answers in the UC Davis-specific form.

The following are also part of your application, and will be completed and provided by UC Davis NUFP Committee Chairs Molly Bechtel and Krissy Ocampo:

  2. Fellow-Mentor Agreement Form
  3. Letter of recommendation from a staff or faculty member
