Personify Leadership - New Offering!
Personify Leadership is an experiential-based leadership development program that provides comprehensive development for leaders. All aspects of the program are derived from a signature eight-core body-focused competency model, designed to provide a "head-to-toe" approach to leadership excellence. You will be exposed to five distinct learning methods: experiential simulations, video demonstrations, case studies, skills application, and personal reflection. Because leadership is complex, you need a toolkit ready to go. You will leave with tangible tools for real-world application in a variety of situations. You’ll have the chance to problem-solve, collaborate, compete, and challenge your peers in exciting, hands-on activities.
Participants will explore eight distinct areas of leadership effectiveness:
Heart: Be a leader whose intention is to look out for the best interests of others. Mind: Be an emotionally resilient leader. Voice: Be a leader who communicates a message that resonates. Ears: Be a leader who truly listens to others. Hands: Be a leader who provides direction and support. Feet: Be a leader who walks the talk. Spine: Be a leader who is courageous in tough times. Eyes: Be a leader who has a vision for the future.
- Date/Time: Monday, August 31st and Tuesday, September 1st, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Location: Mee Room, 3rd Floor of MU
- Eligibility: Supervisors of Students and Mid-Level Leaders in Student Affairs
