Why should we integrate well-being into our work?
Well-being is not just something that happens when you’re off the clock. It’s essential to your overall work and life experience and helps you be a better colleague and a stronger resource for the students you serve. In Student Affairs, our staff often spend their energy supporting students’ well-being. You deserve to take the time to fill your own cup!

From Burnout To Well-being
This program utilizes coaching techniques and reflection to prevent and respond to burnout in the workplace. Identifying root causes of burnout and exploring self-care practices are just a couple of ways that this coaching-based program helps staff identify and develop strategies to manage and move beyond burnout.
There are two main Burnout to Well-being Programs:
Burnout to Wellbeing Coaching - Work with a professional coach for six one-on-one sessions to prevent or address burnout and form well-being strategies. You can request burnout coaching any time throughout the year. Note: This program is now available for all levels of Student Affairs professional staff.
Burnout to Wellbeing Group Coaching Program - This is a 6-month cohort-based program where participants work with a professional coach and support each other on paths to well-being through community and discussion.

LEGO Serious Play
These “out-of-the-box” workshops use hands-on activities and creative thinking to build metaphors, tap into subconscious ideas, and spark fresh perspectives—all while connecting with colleagues and taking a break from screens. Anyone can sign up, and topics may include goal setting, career exploration, and navigating challenges.

Self-Care Series: From Surviving to Thriving
This brand new workshop uses group coaching, discussion, and journaling to create tangible and practical self-care strategies and plans that help employees to balance work with life while connecting with supportive colleagues. In this workshop, self-care is not just an idea but a habit and a way of life that helps participants move from surviving to thriving.
- This series will launch next Winter, exact date/time TBD.
